Q: What's the size of each carbon fiber sheet?

A: Each sheet of carbon fiber vinyl sheet is measured at 24 inches x 48 inches large and it is 0.015 inches in thickness.

Q: How would I know whether this carbon fiber wrapping sheet will fit my car?

A: Our carbon fiber wrapping sheets are sold in 24"x48" (2'x4') sheet sizes ONLY, we do not carry any sizes larger than this. Since we cannot determine the size of the application you wish to apply our vinyl wrap on, we highly recommend that you first measure the dimensions of your application prior to purchasing to determine how much you need to get.

If you are using the carbon fiber sheet for a very large area, you can put several sheets edge to edge.

Q: Does the carbon fiber sheet require dry applying or wet applying?

A: We will recommend dry applying since the vinyl film is self-adhesive already, therefore all you need to do is to make sure the surface is completely cleaned and dry and directly apply the vinyl film on.

Q: How would I apply the carbon fiber sheet for a curvy area?

A: You can use either a heat gun or a hair dryer to heat up the vinyl film a little bit and then apply it along the curve. For heat gun, set the temperature to Low and for hair dryer, set the temperature to High.

Q: Does the carbon fiber sheet leave a residue once you remove it?

A: No, it should not. Our carbon fiber sheet is designed to be applied and taken off with relative ease. However, there may be residue left on some applications depending on the application material, how long it’s been on there, and if there was heat from the application; in those cases, it can be easily removed by using "Goo-Gone" which is a gentle adhesive remover.

Q: How to apply the carbon fiber wrap?

A: Please follow this brief installation guide below
1) Completely clean the surface of the application and remove the carbon fiber sheet vinyl adhesive backing and lay the vinyl on the surface slowly.
2) Smooth the surface using a credit card for example to get rid of all the air bubbles underneath. Work your way from the center going to the outwards so the air can escape.
3) For curving surface, you need to use heat gun set with a low heat to stretch the carbon fiber sheet slightly to cover over the curving surface and use credit card again to repeat step2.
4) Trim the excess edges with a knife and remove any scrap pieces of the carbon sheet and smooth the edges down.

Q: Can I still return this product once I peel off the backing?

A: Unfortunately no. Due to the nature of this product, If the carbon fiber sheet is used, there is no refund nor exchange.
