Q: My phone cannot connect
to the WiFi controller in single mode.
A: Make sure the WiFi
controller is connected correctly. Your LED lights are connected
to the WiFi controller. The WiFi controller is connected the
power supply. Check to see that your smartphone's WiFi
capability is turned on. Connect your phone to the WiFi network
"LED net******".
Q: I forgot my WiFi
controller's password in single mode. What do I do?
A: If you forgot the WiFi
controller's password, power on your controller and hold the
"reset" button for 10 seconds. Wait an additional 10 seconds.
Restart the controller and the password will default to
"88888888".
Q: I can't connect to the
WiFi device in network mode.
A: Ensure that you have
entered the correct password to your router. Switch off the
controller and router. Turn on your router and controller in
this order after waiting 30 seconds. Wait about 2 minutes before
running Magichrome WiFi.
If you still cannot connect on
network mode, go to your phone's WiFi settings and set up the
WiFi connection "LEDnet******" again. Then connect your
controller to WiFi router in single mode.
Q: Why can't my phone run
WiFi device?
A: The app is supported by
iOS 6.0 or above on Apple devices and Android 2.3 and above on Android devices.
Q: How many WiFi
controllers can be controlled by one phone in single mode or
network mode?
A: In single mode, one
phone can control one WiFi controller. In network mode, the
number of WiFi controllers one smartphone can sync with is the
same as the number of devices one WiFi router can work with.
Q: Can I use more than one
phone to control a WiFi controller?
A: You can use up to 8
smartphones to control one WiFi controller.
