SMD LED uses the surface-mount technology (aka SMT) to place and mount the LED light emitters directly onto the printed circuit board (PCB). Some common SMD LEDs are 3-Emitter 5050 SMD LED, 3528 (1210) SMD LED, 3020 SMD LED, 5730 SMD LED and 2835 SMD LED, etc.
The way to have the LED emitter mounted and soldered onto the PCB board is usually done using a machine called (ARSS) Auto Reflow Soldering Station. This automatic soldering procedure gives SMD LED much less defect rate versus the conventional refractor LED lights mostly done by hand. The surfacing mounting allows smaller space taken, hence more rooms for the bulb style and design variations.
Here at iJDMTOY.com, we carry the largest selections and styles for the SMD LED bulbs from the smallest T5 SMD LED bulbs to some very large SMD LED bulbs for fog lights. We also carry the latest bi-color emitting switchback LED bulbs to the 1W each high power 5730 SMD LED bulbs. You will for sure find what you want here with the best price on the market.
