This tutorial will show you how to install the 18W Ford LED backup reverse mini light bars (70-257) on the following Ford trucks:
- 2015-up Ford F-150
- 2017-up Ford F-150 Raptor
With our specially designed mounting brackets, you will find the installation to be clear-cut with no modifications required. Use this LED light bar set to achieve a bigger and brighter presence as you back up.
Step 1: Locate the bolt under the ends of your rear bumper where you will install the mini LED light bars.
Step 2: Unscrew the bolt circled in red. Route the bolt through the offset U-shaped metal mounting bracket as shown.
We've updated the bracket design so the metal mounting brackets you will receive will look like the one in the white square below.
Step 3: Mount the bolt with the U-shaped support mounts back to the unbolted location. Make sure that the legs of the light bar mounting brackets are facing inwards towards your Ford F-150.
Step 4: Bolt on the back-up LED light bars onto the U-shaped mounting brackets. Route the wire upwards to connect it to your reverse tail light harness. Repeat steps 1-4 for the other side.
Step 5: Test your LED backup reverse light bars to make sure they function as they should. Once you have confirmed that it has, you can now enjoy your Ford F150's new set of LED back-up reverse light bars!
