Just when you think you couldn't add more to your WRX, here comes the switchback LED C-ring headlight daytime running turn signal lights!

This is a pair of C-ring circuit boards that contour to the shape of your Subaru WRX's headlights. Each LED ring holds 240 4014-SMD LED diodes, which shine in both xenon white and amber yellow. The LED headlight C-ring emits xenon white light on idle to run as driving lights, and flashes in amber yellow when you engage your turn signals for switchback action. The circuit boards are almost twice as thick as other C-rings on the market (1.5mm) so it absorbs heat and lasts longer.

The switchback LED headlight DRL and turn signal C-ring set is made to fit the 2015 through 2018 Subaru WRX & WRX STi.

Note: Installing this item will heavily involve modifications on your part. Retrofitting actions may include, but not limited to, baking open the headlamps, cutting, drilling, and adding additional brackets to mount the LED rings. Is there any instructional videos on how to install the 15+ WRX switchback C lights?

We, unfortunately, do not have an installation video for these rings. Installing this item will heavily involve modifications on your part. Retrofitting may include, baking open the headlamps, cutting, drilling, and adding additional brackets to mount the LED rings.

Is there a harness available to make this my DRL instead of the existing high beam?

Your vehicle's daytime running lights should also be your high beams. Unfortunately, we do not have wiring to perform the function you are inquiring about. We recommend tapping the main DRL wire from our LED lights to the ACC 12V+ spot in the fuse box to allow the white lights to come on with the engine. If you tap to the existing DRL, it may not light up properly because the vehicle's DRL runs at about 6~9V and the LED lights need a full 12V to function.

Does this include the wiring harness necessary to make this run as your DRL instead of the high beams?

This item only comes with a white daytime running light feature and amber turn signal feature. It does not come with any wiring harness that will let it run as DRL instead of high beams. There will be 3 wires - one for the white DRL feature, one for the amber turn signal feature, and one ground wire. You'll need to tap the DRL wire to any 12V power source such as the ACC 12V+ spot in the fuse box or headlights. The turn signal wire connects to the turn signal positive on the stock harness. The ground wire goes to a negative terminal. The wires cannot be tapped to the vehicle's stock DRL since it needs a full 12V and DRL runs on 6~9V.
