Q: What truck will this set of LED pod lights fit in?
A: The 40W high powered CREE LED pod lights are made to fit onto the 2010-2014 Ford F-150 Raptor's windshield A-pillar location.
Q: Do I absolutely need a relay harness wiring kit?
A: Although it's not absolutely necessary to wire your LED pod lights to a relay harness, we highly recommend that you do so if you don't have one already. Connecting your LED pod lights to a relay harness will protect your Ford F150 Raptor's circuits, since the relay harness has a built-in fuse, and ensures that it doesn't overload. Having your LED pod lamps connected to a relay harness protects your car battery's longevity; turning your car off also turns off the LED pod lamps. Additionally, our relay harnesses come with an on/off switch so that you can conveniently switch on/off your LED pod lights whenever you need to.
Q: How do I install these LED pod lights onto my A-pillars?
A: Follow these steps to quickly and easily install the 40W LED pod lamps onto your Ford Raptor:
Step 1: Use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolt closest to you.
Step 2: Mount the z-shaped powder-coated metal mounting bracket by threading the bolt through the shorter end.
Make sure the shorter end of the metal mounting support bracket is mounted to the truck.
Step 3: Preassemble the LED pod light. See the next FAQ to learn how to secure the U-shaped bracket onto your LED pod lamps.
Step 4: Mount the LED pod light onto the longer end of the z-shaped mounting bracket.
Make sure that they are mounted far enough away from the hood so that it doesn't get caught.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 for the other side. Wire the LED pod lights using the included relay wiring harness with switch. Test to make sure the LED pods function properly. Once you've confirmed functionality, you may now enjoy your Ford Raptor's A-pillar LED pod lights!
Q: My Ford Raptor has switches built into my interior. Is there a way I can hook up my LED fog lights so that I can turn them on and off using my switches?
A: Yes, there are a few steps you can take to wire your LED fog lights to your interior switches.
Step 1: Wire your LED pod lights to the included relay wiring harness. Remove the on/off switch and cover the socket with black tape.
Step 2: Find your hotwires that are connected to your aux switches.
