2009-2014 Ford F150, 2010-2014 Raptor Lower Bumper Grille Mount LED Light Bar Kit Installation Guide

Check out the Ford F150 LED Light Bar System (35-918).

This LED light bar system is finely crafted with a specially designed mounting bracket and vehicle specific-sized LED light bar. Unlike conventional Ford F-150 LED light bar systems that require modification and bumper adjustments, the iJDMTOY LED light bar system has a set of easy slide-on brackets that make installing this LED assembly a straightforward process.

After you mount the bracket, please head over to Truck LED Wiring Guide to complete the wiring portion.

Before we get started:
You will be installing the iJDMTOY LED light bar system in the center of the lower bumper location. You may need to relocate your license plate to either the left side or the right side of the bumper to make room for the LED assembly.

Step 1: There are two bolts in the lower bumper location that you can easily access after you open the hood. Use a 21mm wrench and remove the bolts.

Step 2: The screw will be exposed. Take a hammer and pound the screw down in order to create a small gap in between the two metal plates.

Step 3: Once there is a slight gap in between the two metal plates, take one piece of the mounting bracket and slip it in between the plates and on top of the screw.

Afterwards, tighten the bolt, but not all the way. You'll want just a little bit of leeway in order to adjust the leveling of the bracket later on.

Step 4: Repeat the bracket mounting on the other side.

Step 5: Now you'll need to mount the LED light bar onto the brackets. You can take this time to adjust the mounting brackets to make sure the leveling is the same on both side and then tighten the bolt to secure.

To mount the LED bar onto the brackets, you can go about this in one of two ways:

You can remove the front bumper end covers on both sides. This will give you more space and give you some room to use the hex tool to bolt down the LED bar onto the mounting brackets.

You can also use a combination bolt and screw. Insert the bolt halfway down the screw and tighten the bolt with your fingers after you have the combo screw/bolt mounted onto the side of the LED light bar. Then take a wrench to tighten all of the components.
