This tutorial guide will show you how to install the LED tailgate brake light bar for the 2006-up Dodge RAM 1500 2500 3500 Heavy Duty (72-049).
For models that come with a tailgate brake light bar from the factory, you will directly replace it with the new LED light bar.
Bolt on the light bar.
Unplug the 7-pin trailer hitch plug from behind (process same for 4-pin plug)
Tap the Green wire to the Blue wire.
For a fresh add on installation, you will bolt on the LED light bar and then unplug and tap to the 7-pin trailer hitch plug (process same for 4-pin plug).
Tap the wires
Black to White/Ground
Red to Brown
Green to Blue
