This installation guides applies forΒ 72-107 Nissan Frontier Full LED Third Brake Light
Step 1) From inside the truck, pry off the two plastic covers on the headliner to access the mounting nuts securing the third brake light; once removed, you can detach the original unit from the vehicle.

Step 2) If you compare our full LED third brake light, which includes two 921 W15W adapters that differ from the original design. So you need to twist-unlock the bulb holders from the back of the original third brake lamp and remove the glass bulbs to proceed with installation.

Step 3) After removing the incandescent bulbs, plug the W15W adapters from the LED third brake light into the original bulb holders/harness, noting the following two IMPORTANT details:
A) There are three bulb holdersβone for the center red brake light and two for the side clearance lightsβbut you will only need to use one of the side bulb bases for the LED third brake's white LED clearance light; the other can be left unused or wrapped with black tape.

B) When connecting the adapters, pay close attention to polarity: for the center red LED brake light, match red to red and black to black; for the side xenon white LED clearance light, match red to green/yellow and black to blackβincorrect connections may blow a fuse, which isnβt serious but can be inconvenient.

Step 4) Test the functions, and if the brake and clearance light features appear reversed, simply switch the adapters around; once again, carefully check polarityβmatch the correct wire colors and do not connect them incorrectly.

Step 5) Afterwards, reinstall the new LED third brake light securely into place and ensure all components are properly seatedβthen you're ready to enjoy the upgraded lighting.
