LED Light Bar Kit FAQ & Tech Support

Q: Is this LED Light Bar water resistant?

A: The LED light bar is rated at IP67 waterproof, meaning that you can use the assembly under any weather condition. However, we don't recommend submerging the LED light bar under water and please try not use a high pressure water jet to spray directly on it either.

Q: How come when I connect this LED light bar to power, it does not light up?

A: Since the LED light bar is polar sensitive, please try to flip the two wires around and try again.

Q: How come when I connect the LED light bar to power, it does not light up? or part of the LED light bar does not light up? or part of the LED light bar does not light up as bright as the other part(s)?

A: The LED light bar is polar sensitive so if the LED light bar does not light up at all, please try to switch the two wires around and try again.

For any "part" light up/flickering, or "part" is not as bright as the other half issues, it indicates the power source is not strong enough to completely power up this high power LED light bar. It happens especially when you are testing the LED light bar with a 12V power supply (normally can only power up to 60W) or could mean your car battery is not fully charged or the battery is too old that does not hold enough "juice" anymore.

If your LED light bar is partially lighting up or not light up at all, it may be because your car battery is not fully charged or has a smaller energy capacity. To verify this, we highly recommend directly tapping the light bar wires to a newly installed car battery or a modern vehicle's car battery positive (+) and negative (-) to see if your LED light bar lights up completely.

Here we have a video to further explain this for you or continue read about this at Why Parts of Your LED Light Bar Doesn't Light Up.
