How do I mount the LED tubes for the LED underbody kit? Our LED under body lights are typically mounted to the vehicle using zip-ties/cable ties by every 30 inches. It is not recommended to use just double-sided tape because road debris may cause the adhesive to fail, zip-ties/cable ties are a more durable and efficient way to mount the lights on the vehicle.

How much can I bend the LED tubes of the LED underbody kit? Try not to bend the LED tubes of the LED underbody kit, it it meant to be stay straight or with just a little bit curve, do not bend it backwards or sidewards. |

Is the LED tube/strip of the LED underbody kit and LED scanner knight rider bar waterproof? Yes, the LED tube/strip is IP68 water resistance for all exterior use. However, the wiring and module boxes are not waterproof so they will have to be mounted somewhere secure and away from water. Since these items are installed on spots of the vehicle that can be subjected to water, they will have to be waterproof; this means that they can be subjected to rain and car washes, but submerging these lights in water is highly not recommended. |

However, you would not be able to control them separately and independently from each other since they all use the same frequency for the module box and remote. |

What does the yellow wire do on the LED underbody kit module? The yellow wire is optional and you can tap it to brake lamp's positive so when you brake, the LED will flash.

Can I mount the LED tubes or LED puddle lamps using 3M tape? No, we do not recommend you use the 3M tape, because it will fall up sooner or later. For LED tubes/strips, we recommend you using the zip ties and for the LED puddle lamps, there are screws included in the package to mount each lamp. |
