This installation guide is base on a Nissan 370Z to change the LED license plate lights, it will also apply for the directly fit Nissan/Infiniti LED license plate lamps (75-020).
Step 1: Take off the stock license plate light lamp by pinching the clip.
Step 2: Unplug the stock license plate lamp.
Step 3: If you are installing the directly fit Nissan/Infiniti LED license plate lamp, please remove the stock harness marks in the yellow circle and directly plug back with this LED license plate lamp.
Step 4: If you are installing 168/2825 LED replacement bulbs, please twist and remove the stock license plate lamp cover marks in the blue circle, unplug the stock bulbs and replace with the LED bulbs.
Step 5: Before you put it back, test it to make sure it lights up. If not, simply reinstall the LED bulb by turning it 180 degrees.
Step 6: Put it back into the license plate light lamp and enjoy the new LED license plate lights!
