    for a 2012 Honda Odyssey High beam and DRL are one bulb H11-9500 what decoder do I need DRL light on dashboard lit.

    The LED DRL high beam decoder doesn't fit an H11 bulb size it replaces 9005 bulbs. If your high beam DRL uses 9005 bulb size then R2 DRL decoder is what is recommended for the 2006-2016 Honda Odyssey.

    Hello: I want to install LED bulbs in the high beam lights on my Mazda 3 (in place of halogens). Apparently LED replacements do not function as DRLs in place of halogens. My understanding is the Mazda 3 gives the high beams about 7 volts to run them as dimmer DRLs (rather than using PWM as other cars do). Will the R1 allow the DRLs to function on the Mazda 3? Just curious, does the R1 up the voltage? And would the LEDs run at full brightness in this case? Thanks.

    The LED DRL decoder setup allows LED high beam DRL bulbs to turn on to its full capacity on DRL mode and high beam mode. On the vehicle's DRL mode, it runs about 6~9V which is not enough to fully light up the LED bulb. Thus causes the LED lights to either flicker or not turn on at all on DRL mode. 

    With this setup, the DRL brightness will be pretty much the same as high beam brightness. The R1 is suitable for the following Mazda:

    2013-2016 Mazda CX-5 with halogen headlight trim only
    2014-2018 Mazda 3 with halogen headlight trim only
    2014-2018 Mazda 6 with halogen headlight trim only
