This is a tutorial on how to install the front and rear 180-SMD LED side marker lights for the 2015-2018 Dodge Challenger (75-135). This relatively simple upgrade will boost your current OEM side markers to a much brighter and aesthetically pleasing amber/white front markers and red rear markers. While your stock side marker lamps are LED, they only hold 2 LED chips which limit its visibility. During the day, the front amber/rear red lenses stick out like a sore thumb due to its unsightly design. With our LED side marker lights, you'll achieve a full, continuous flow of LED light that looks brilliant day or night!
Front End Dodge LED Side Marker Lights
Step 1: Roll your front wheel inwards to give yourself working space.
Step 2: Use a screwdriver to unscrew the bolt(s) securing the wheel well liner. Peel it back to reveal the backside of your stock side marker light.
Undo the clips to release the side marker light.
Step 3: Pull the red tab on the harness plug to unlock the side marker lamp. Unplug the harness from the stock Challenger side marker lamp.
The red tab acts as a locking mechanism, so it is important that you release the red tab first before pulling out the OEM side marker lights. Do NOT pull the harness out immediately after releasing your side markers from your Dodge Challenger.
Step 4: Plug in the continuous flow full LED side marker lights to the harness and push in the red tab to lock the connection.
Step 5: Test the LED side marker lights to make sure it lights up properly on your Challenger. Once you've confirmed that it has, snap in the LED side marker lamps and close your wheel well liner to finish. Repeat steps 1-5 for the other side.
Back End Dodge LED Side Marker Lights
Step 1: Release the rear side Dodge side marker lights by reaching it from underneath. Make sure you perform this step while your exhaust is cool so that you don't burn yourself.
Step 2: Repeat steps 3 and 4 from above.
Step 3: Test the LED side marker lights to make sure it lights up properly on your Challenger. Once you've confirmed that it has, snap in the LED side marker lamps to finish. Repeat these steps for the other side.
