This is a tutorial on how to install the front and rear LED side marker lights for the 2015 and later Dodge Charger (75-137). This is a complete set of side marker lights that feature 180-SMD LED diodes that are miles brighter than your stock side markers. What you'll get after this simple installation is a much brighter look on your Charger that lets other drivers know where you are.
Front Side Amber Yellow LED Side Marker Lamps
Step 1: Turn your wheel inwards to give yourself hand clearance to work. Remove the clip securing the wheel well to reveal the back end of your front OEM side marker light.
Step 2: Use a small torx head screwdriver to unscrew the OEM side marker lights.
Step 3: Unplug the harness from the side marker lamp.
Compared to the stock side markers which only use 3 LED chips, our LED side marker lights fill the entire housing with LED diodes for the fullest light flood and high visibility.
Step 4: Plug the harness into the new LED side marker light to make sure it functions properly.
Step 5: Once you've confirmed that your LED side marker light works, use your screw to create new threading. This will ensure that you will have an easier time screwing in the LED side marker light.
Step 6: Screw in the front LED side marker lamp in and close your wheel well to finish. Repeat these steps for the other side.
Back Side Brilliant Red LED Side Marker Lamps
Step 1: Remove the clip securing the wheel well to reveal the back end of your rear OEM side marker light.
Step 2: Use a small torx head screwdriver to remove the bolts to release the stock side marker light.
Step 3: Pull out the harness from the stock side marker lights.
Step 4: Plug the harness into the new rear LED side marker light to make sure it properly lights up. Once you've confirmed that it has, use the screw you removed to create new threading.
Again, this will make sure you will have an easier time securing the red LED side marker light to your rear fender.
Step 5: Screw the rear LED side marker light in and close your wheel well to finish. Repeat these steps for the other side.
